We went on Kashmir trip through SOTC from 22nd June 2026 to 28th June 2026.
The whole trip was memorable. Kashmir is indeed Paradise on Earth.
Firstly we would like to mention Ms. Mahalakshmi of SOTC Nungambakkam branch. All the arrangements and coordination were handled very well by Ms. Mahalakshmi.
Regarding the trip our guide Mr. Rasheed was well mannered, polite and took care of our food preferences throughout the trip. Other hotels food, accommodation staff were good.
Our driver Mr.Saqib was punctual and we felt very secure in his driving.
ISSUES:
Houseboat mentioned in the itinerary was MEENA HOUSE BOAT but SOTC passengers were accommodated in another houseboat HILTON KASHMIR which was sub-standard compared to Meena. Water was a problem. Power went off many times. Bed linens were not clean. Apparently the travellers from Thomas Cook were accommodated in MEENA HOUSE BOAT and those from SOTC were put in HILTON KASHMIR.
The vehicle provided Tempo Traveller was not at all comfortable. For a long journeys on ghat roads it was extremely difficult for senior citizens. Almost everybody complained. The passage to get to the seat was not sufficient and we had to maneuver to get to our seat..
Inspite of the above mentioned hiccups the trip was wonderful - lots of great memories were made.

We went in Europeon Splendour package on 11th June and just came back. It was a memorable experience. This was the first time with SOTC which was recommended by my relative. I'm really satisfied with the team,starting from Mukesh SPOC ,VISA assistance team who guided us in all steps, which made the process smooth. Travel guide was also very good, made us feel comfortable. The hotels , food ,bus all arrangements were good. Highly I recommend to travel with SOTC.

My husband (83) and I (72) recently completed a Europe Splendour tour (21st May 2026 to 31st May 2026) with SOTC, and we are extremely grateful to Ms. Mahalakshmi (Nungambakkam branch, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India) for her exceptional support. This was our 6th trip with SOTC (5 international and 1 domestic), and her service was outstanding from start to finish.
She guided us through every detail, from Schengen visa procedures and currency requirements to the complete itinerary. Considering our age, she thoughtfully arranged wheelchair assistance throughout all airport transfers, which was a great blessing. I often called her repeatedly with questions and clarifications, and she patiently answered every call and addressed every concern. She remained in constant touch before and after the trip, even checking on us after we reached home safely.

Kudos to SOTC, Nungambakkam, Chennai for their excellent arrangements made for our Kashi to Kathmandu Yatra. Our entire group enjoyed our stay along with delicious food served-by all the hotels. All the hotels except Ayodhya were good. My humble request is to arrange a good guide who has knowledge of both English and Hindi, bcoz we are from Chennai and we are totally ignorant of Hindi language. Transportation was excellent 👍.. As a whole this is one of the memorable tours in our life. Thank you SOTC 👍
